Hair Time Savers

Ok, I truly made a decision to make sure I do my hair after my almost 4 year old started asking why my hair was always in a ponytail. He used to not like my hair being down, because he knew I was going out usually if it was like that- but I think he noticed I was probably in a pretty good mood when my hair was down and “done”. So- of course that sends me on the quest again for time-saving hair products.
I found a great system- and affordable- it is available at Walgreens. It’s the Samy Fast 2in1 Conditioning Shampoo ($7.99) and Remington Wet 2 Straight flat iron ($29.99 for the 1 inch and $34.99 for the 2 inch). I tried both and found they really did save me time! Now if your hair is really, really dry, you still probably will need to use a conditioner, but for everyone else that Conditioning Shampoo is a great find.
The Wet 2 Straight iron I found works best when my hair is damp dry- so not completely wet- that was still a bit challenging for me (but I have super long hair…). I also loved that it gave my hair volume! I was able to save a good 15-20 minutes off of my hair routine- which is a big deal. The other thing I loved about this iron- is that it had longer plates and wet/dry settings (and higher temperatures- similar to professional irons, but at a fraction of the price). The other great feature is that if you are in a rush and run out without turning it off, it will automatically turn off in an hour! (I cannot tell you how many times I have to rush back in the house to double check I have turned off my styling irons)
